Union Minister Piyush Goyal will soon talk to America on 'Trade Deal'

On Thursday, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that he will talk with his American counterpart in a few days on the business deal. He said that he was in constant dialogue with the US Trade Representative (USTR) Robert Lighthizer and Commerce Minister Wilbur Ross to resolve differences and promote two-way trade.

He will talk with Wilbur Ross in the next few days to finalize the initial aspects of the proposed bilateral business deal as soon as possible. Goyal said that Ross and he will talk with Indian and American businessmen in the middle of July. He is going to have a conversation with Ross in the next few days.                                                            

India wants some exemption from import duty in the US on its aluminium products. America wants its farms and manufacturing products to have a big market in India. On the other hand, the total number of coronavirus infected in India has increased to 4 lakh 90 thousand 401 lakh. Since June 1, more than 2.82 lakh new cases have been reported. So far, 2 lakh 85 thousand 637 patients have become healthy in the country and there are 1 lakh 89 thousand 463 active cases. According to the Health Ministry, the recovery rate of patients improved to 57.43 percent. There are 33.39 cases of infection per one lakh population in the country, while the global figure is 120.21 per lakh population.
