New Delhi: The number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed 35 thousand. According to the figures released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, there are a total of 35,043 cases in the country. Of these, 25,007 are active cases. 8,888 people have been discharged from the hospital so far. As of Friday morning, 1147 people have lost their lives in total corona. Meanwhile, the central government has divided the country's districts into three zones. There are 130 districts in the Red Zone, 284 districts in the Orange Zone and 319 districts in the Green Zone.

The Government of India has told the State Governments that containment is essential to break the chain of virus infection. The advisory states that special care should be taken in the districts of Red and Orange zones. This list of districts with red, orange and green zones is updated every week. If there is no new case of corona in the last 21 days in a district, then it is put in a lower zone.

Currently, there are 319 districts in the Green Zone of the country. These districts may be relaxed after the lockdown part-two ending on 3 May. The government has already issued orders to open factories and shops. After May 3, in these districts, factories, shops, small industries including transport and other services can also be opened with certain conditions. However, the final decision can be left to the state governments. However, it will be necessary to follow social distancing here.
