Liverpool has signed Diogo Jot from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a long-term. Speaking of Jota's departure, wolves said it was a good deal for everyone involved. "We made the deal because it's good for everybody".

Nuno said. "Diogo was happy here but players like new challenges. "Diogo is amazing and everyone knows the relationship we have built. What Diogo did for us is absolutely fantastic. I think Diogo is in the right place and we wish him all the best, When a player has been with us for three seasons, with such high performances, in so many important games, that is not a stepping stone. Wolves is a big, big club. We are proud to say that. Players want to play and progress with us and not look for the next move."

Jota initially joined Wolves in the summer of 2017 on a season-long from Atletico Madrid. He scored 17 goals in the Championship to help achieve progress in the Premier League. After that, he signed a deal of about 10 million pounds and won the qualification for the Europa League and was seventh in the Premier League with nine goals. Last season, he secured 16 points in all competitions.
