Patna: There is still some time left in the assembly elections to be held in Bihar this year, but the LJP under Chirag Paswan has already started work on the manifesto. LJP has announced to release the party's manifesto on the next 12 April. Chirag has also urged all political parties to implement their election manifesto at the earliest.
Actually, Chirag believes that by issuing an early election manifesto, Bihar will be able to contest elections on the issue of development rather than caste religion. However, this stand of Chirag has sparked debate in the politics of Bihar. The NDA itself does not agree with Chirag's appeal. While JDU is describing it as Chirag's party's own stand, BJP is supporting LJP.

According to JDU leader Ghulam Rasool Baliyavi, every party has been issuing electoral manifestos on its own and in such a situation, this issue should be left to the special party. However, Sanjay Paswan, a BJP leader, and former Union Minister is trying to declare Chirag Paswan's appeal for a better and democratic tradition. Sanjay Paswan has even claimed that this thinking belongs to the young politician of today, so there should be no objection to implementing it.
