Kolkata: More than seven months after the operation of suburban train services started in West Bengal from Wednesday, the corona safety guidelines were seen to be avoided due to overcrowding of people. The coach had a crowd of passengers so that administration to follow the social distance remains uncontrolled.

On behalf of the railway administration, there was a proclamation to wear masks, follow the social distance and not to climb the full coach, but it did not show any impact on the passengers. Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal on Wednesday urged the railway administration to run more trains so that passengers in the coach do not have to face the crowds. Chief Minister said that the rush has increased the risk of train passengers getting corona infected.

Though there was no rush to run the train in the morning, the train was crowded as time went on. The crowds at Sealdah and Howrah terminals were so high that people were standing nearby. The operation of local train services running under East and South Eastern Railway commenced. These services were stopped in view of the corona epidemic. The passengers have expressed happiness over the commencement of service of the local train. They say that this will not only save travel time but also save money.
