Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has expressed concern over the huge relaxation in lockdown even in the midst of growing infection of the epidemic coronavirus. Mayawati has advised the state governments to be serious with the Center after this relaxation. Mayawati, who is very active on social media, has made two tweets in this regard on Monday. Mayawati has written that today, on the 69th day, Lockdown-5 has started with considerable relaxation, due to the concerns of the victims of Corona epidemic and increasing death in the country. Lockdown-5 will run till June 30, while the whole country is still plagued by Corona, the state governments along with the Center need to be more serious.

Mayawati has also expressed concern over the disagreements with Nepal. Mayawati said that Nepal has prepared a new map of its country and has put India in new trouble by putting its claim on 370 km area of India including Kalapani. The Narendra Modi government of the Center must seriously consider this unexpected step of the neighbouring country Nepal.

On the other hand, cases of coronavirus infection in India are increasing with the relaxation of lockdown. In the last 24 hours in the country, 8,392 new Covid-19 cases have been reported and 230 deaths have occurred. The expert believes that the epidemic will be at its peak next month. The total number of cases in the country has now reached 1,90,535. This includes 93322 active cases and 91819 cured people. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, so far 5394 people have died due to coronavirus infection.
