India is rolling out the Lockdown 6.0 with few relaxations, and the centre has given the concerned states the authority to decide on reopening of schools and colleges West Bengal took several major decisions especially on re-opening of schools, colleges and cinema halls. The government decided to extend certain lockdown measures till November 30 but certain restrictions and relaxations are included during the period.

The state officila order has said, "The government of West Bengal has from time to time issued orders for combating the spread of COVID-19....the State Government has decided to extend certain lockdown measures till 30-11-2020...restrictions and relaxations shall apply during the period of lockdown". The WB government decided the teaching-learning physical assemblies in schools, anganwadis, colleges, and universities are not opened continues to be closed. Swimming pools will continue to remain closed except for the training of sportsperson. With 50% seating capacity Cinemas/Theaters/Multiplexes will operate only in areas outside the containment zone. 

Lockdown extended to November 30, 2020 in India

Social/academic/sports/entertainment/cultural/Jatras/Plays/musical/ dance/recital/religious/political functions and other congregations with 50% hag capacity, maximum of 200 persons in closed space and in open space assembly size is fixed and strict adherence to the COVID-19 management protocols are allowed outside the Containment Zones after an official permissions from appropriate authorities, and is subjected to observance of the SOP issued by the state government, reads the order. The resumption of local train services in West Bengal allowing 50 per cent of passenger strength and ensuring the COVID-19 management protocol are awaited eagerly, the railway authorities will start from 10-20% then increased to 25%. However, the final decision on resumption of Trains will be taken on November 5.
