Bhopal: The second wave of corona virus now seems to be slowly receding. In order to break the chain of this infection, lockdown has been extended in 14 districts of the State. In the same capital Bhopal, unnecessary services including vegetable mandi were also banned. Even after this, the situation in Sabzi Mandi, just a few kilometres away from the collectorate, looked somewhat otherthan, where a large crowd was seen. Let me tell all of you that corona curfew is currently in force in Bhopal till 6 am on 17th May, all have permission to get out with masks and dispensing only if necessary.

There are instructions to close the vegetable mandi in the same city, but the illegal vegetable mandi continued to operate in Islamnagar, just 15 kilometres from the collectorate. A large crowd was seen gathered here. Let us also inform all of you that lockdown has been increased in 13 districts last Saturday. Similarly, instructions have been received to increase the restrictions in Khargone district today. In fact, the district administration has said that there will be corona curfew till May 24.

Additional Collector BS Solanki has issued directions on the orders of Collector Anugraha P. At the same time, it has been reported that liquor shops and non-essential services will remain closed during this period and only essential services will be exempted. Besides Khargone, corona curfew was extended in Rewa, Sagar and Raisen till 31st May, Narsinghpur and Ratlam till 25th May, Chhindwara, Jhabua, Ashoknagar and Dhar till 24thMay.
