Jabalpur: A big achievement has been registered today in the name of Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh. The third test fire range (Long Proof Range, LPR) of the country has become in Khamaria of Jabalpur. Now, 155 mm barrels of large arms can be tested in this firing range. Successful testing of the Sarang Artillery Gun and Dhanush Cannon at Jabalpur firing range has been completed today.

Successful fire testing of Dhanush Cannon and Sarang Gun was carried out at Jabalpur LPR in presence of Army's DG Quality Assurance Sanjay Chauhan. Let us tell you that Ghanush Cannon and Sarang Artillery Gun are prepared in Ordnance Factory in Jabalpur itself. The 155mm caliber Saranga gun and Dhanush cannon have been upgraded in 'Gun Carriage Factory'.
