Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has given the Uddhav government a repeat ultimatum over the  loudspeaker controversy that the state government will remove loudspeakers from religious places. But even after that, if Raj Thackeray said anything objectionable, then action will be taken against him.

On the issue, ruling Shiv Sena's woman leader and Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said, "No one, including Muslims, has ever opposed the Hanuman Chalisa. Loudspeakers will be removed from temple and mosque. I appeal to all to maintain peace. The law is equal for everyone. If Raj Thackeray does anything objectionable in his speeches, action will be taken against him. '

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar has told MNS workers, "If MNS workers take the law into their own hands, their entire lives will go to the court. Loudspeakers are also being removed from temples because of Raj Thackeray. Many people in the village are away from the temples, so there used to be loudspeakers but now they will also remove them. Raj Thackeray's act is anti-Hindu. The loudspeaker will be used as per the noise pollution rule.
