People are eagerly waiting for Hindi film producer Imtiaz Ali's film 'Love Aaj Kal'. This film is at the center of discussion for two reasons. The first reason is 'Sartik' ie Sara-Karthik's pair. Both have been at the center of discussion due to their closeness due to shooting. The other reason is the story of the film. The film can show a love story of the 1990's Udaipur and 2020 Delhi. Both love stories are very different due to their methods, trust, and relationships. Kartik is playing the lead role in both the stories. He plays Raghavendra aka Raghu in the 90s story. The old-fashioned charm of Udaipur and the small town innocence in Kartik can be seen in this story. There is a lot of impact of films in this character.

Raghu, studying in class 10, is strongly influenced by the film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' and falls in love with his school's Leena (Aarushi Sharma). The trailer beautifully portrays the love of the school of that era in both the characters. In the second story, Kartik played the role of Veer. Talking about his characters, he said, 'Both my characters are quite different. Their reaction to their behavior and the people around them are all completely different. There is a heroic modern person on one side who is a little weird in personal and social life. He knows what he needs and this is what makes him different from the people around him. On the other hand, Raghu is a minor boy who grew up in the 90s. When Raghu and Veer make love, both are completely different.'

Kartik Aaryan was in washroom for 40 minutes due to this reason

Talking about the character of actor Kartik, Imtiaz said, 'Veer is an idealist and a loner. He knows what he needs, yet he always seems suspicious. He reads the truck and the things he sees all over the place and makes a theory of his life. Raghuvendra Shekhawat alias Raghu lives in Udaipur in the 90s, besides he is a very enthusiastic and romantic person. He is a strong emotion-laden boy. We have worked on the language, behavior, gait of both the characters so that both the characters look completely different from each other. Actor Kartik has played both his characters very diligently. Even we started to feel that we are working with two different artists.'
