Assam: A strange incident has come to light from Assam. Here a lover from Assam fulfilled the last wish of his dead girlfriend by marrying her and vowed to remain single for the rest of his life. The girl died due to illness on Friday in a private hospital in Guwahati, Assam. After the girl's death, when she was to be cremated, her lover married his dead girlfriend at her funeral and vowed not to marry anyone else for the rest of his life. To fulfill his girlfriend's desire to be his bride, the lover made her his bride even after her death and fulfilled her last wish. 

The lover is 27 years old, and a resident of Morigaon, Guwahati, Assam. The name of the lover is Bitupan Tamuli. Bitupan Tamuli applied vermilion on the cheeks and forehead of 24-year-old Prarthana Bora, the deceased from Kosua village in Chaparmukh, the way one applies vermilion to a new bride. The girl was on the floor, then the young man put a white garland around her neck. The lover then took another garland and after touching several parts of his beloved and wore it around his neck and got married completing the wedding rituals.

Relatives say that Bitunap and Prarthana were lovers for a long time. This thing was also known to the family members of both of them, there was talk of relationship and marriage in both of their houses, and Prarthana suddenly fell ill a few days back. She was also admitted to the hospital in Guwahati and tried his best to save Prarthana but he could not save her and Prarthana passed away on Friday, Prarthana's cousin Subhon said that Bitupan's heart was completely broken. Bitupan took the wedding paraphernalia to the funeral. 

When the lover reached his girlfriend's house with the wedding material, everyone was surprised. Bitupan said that he would marry Prarthana. Subhon says really my sister was lucky. Prarthana wanted to marry Bitupan and Bitupan completed her wish. Tears welled up in our eyes seeing this scene of love.
