LPL's debut in Sri Lanka is going to be from 28 August this year, while the final match is going to be played on 20 September. There are few cases of Covid-19 here. Foreign players can also play here without any fear. Not only this, Irfan Pathan, former all-rounder of Team India, was also present in the draft of the league, but an official announcement has not been made on this yet. However, which teams are going to participate in this league. A decision on this is going to come.
A total of 23 matches are to be played in the inaugural season of the tournament. The match will be played at R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Rangagiri Dambulla Stadium, Pallekal International Cricket Stadium and S Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium. Just before it was announced that the teams of Colombo, Kandy, Jaffna, Dambulla and Galle would be screwed up, but now the confirmation of what the names of these teams will be. According to reports, the names of these teams are inspired by some IPL teams.
