Earlier also a woman named Priyadarshini had slapped the cab driver in Lucknow and the video of the incident also went viral on social media. In this video you can see the tempo drive being beaten with slippers on raksha bandhan day and looking at this video it can be inferred that the driver had asked for a fare from the people sitting in the tempo. Two youths were very angry with this.
At first they abused the driver and then everyone started assaulting him. According to the news, the tempo driver was asking passengers for a fare, but the people sitting in the tempo paid him a lower fare. In the meantime, when he asked for more money, he was abused and assaulted. The video shows some policemen rescuing the tempo driver on the spot. Meanwhile, the woman also slapped the driver and then thrashed him with a slipper. As per the information received, no complaint has been registered in the matter so far.
