Lucknow: A shocking case has come to light from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. In fact, retired IPS officer DK Sharma has committed suicide by shooting himself with his licensed revolver in Gomti Nagar here. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

At the same time, the police have started investigating the case from every angle. The police have recovered a suicide note from the spot. In the suicide note, depression is written. According to ADCP East Sai Ali Abbas, Dinesh Kumar was a 1975 batch IPS officer. Dinesh, who retired from the post of DG, had been ill for a long time. His health had worsened for two months. Even after a lot of treatment, his health was not improving.

It is being told that, fed up with this, Dinesh Kumar shot himself with a licensed revolver on Tuesday morning. Hearing the sound of firing, the wife ran towards the room. Dinesh was lying in a pool of blood. When they were taken to the hospital, the doctors confirmed the death. After getting information about the accident, many senior police officers reached Dinesh Kumar's house in Gomtinagar and started investigating.
