R Madhavan's 'Vikram Vedha' sets wings for Tokoyo International film festival

The actor who got fame in both the Hollywood and Bollywood industries with his tremendous performance in the movies. He is only our 'Meddy', R Madhavan his film Vikram Vedha is going to be screened at Tokoyo International film festival. His very latest movie named Vikram Vedha in which he played a role in the encounter is all ready to set in Japanese premiere at 30th Tokyo International Film Festival; the film’s makers Y Not Studios announced on Twitter.

Directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, the film also starred Vijay Sethupathi as a gangster. Inspired by the popular folklore of Vikram Betaal, its moralities riddles are applied to a police-gangster backdrop. By grossing over Rs. 60 crores worldwide in its lifetime theatrical run, the film has impressed critics and audiences alike.

Actors Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh are also in talks for the remake of the film in the Telugu language. On the other side, the Hindi remake of the movie is all preparing to get a green signal in which Shah Rukh Khan while Madhavan will be retained to play his same character.

Vikram Vedha did a good earning at the box office outside as well. And in the US it has emerged as the second highest grossing Tamil film after Baahubali 2 this year. The film, which has music by CS Sam, also stars Shraddha Srinath, Kathir and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar in key roles.
