Gwalior: The father of a minor mute girl who has become pregnant after rape has filed a petition in the Gwalior bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court seeking permission for her abortion. This whole matter has come out from Porsa in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. The minor mute girl is 30 to 31 weeks pregnant.

In such a situation, seeing the seriousness of the case, the Gwalior bench of the High Court has asked to instruct the child welfare committee Morena and the Women Child Development Officer in the case as a friend of justice. The High Court has said that the minor and his family can leave the child after birth. In such a situation, it would be better to find a future parent for the newborn who can adopt the child. The Gwalior bench of the High Court has also ordered Collector Morena to cooperate in this matter. Actually, the information about the rape of the minor girl was revealed when her health deteriorated. The girl's mother has died. The girl's elder sister reached home to look after her after receiving information about her health.

When she talked to the minor girl, she came to know about her pregnancy. When the elder sister inquired further, the minor wrote the names of the accused on paper. The minor's elder sister and father filed a complaint against the accused at the police station. After this, the father applied for the abortion of the girl child in the Paxo court Morena. But abortion cannot be allowed by the Paxo court. Due to this the application was rejected. Because of this, a petition for permission for abortion was filed in the Gwalior bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
