In today's world, water is not available for free, but you will be surprised to know that in a village in Madhya Pradesh, milk is free of charge. If you don't know, we can tell you that the village is none other than Betul. It may sound strange to hear but the people here don't trade milk. In Churia village of Betul district with a population of about three thousand, people do not trade milk, but use home-produced milk in their family and give it to the needy free of cost when produced more. That is, no one in the village sells milk.

"Sant Chindhya Baba used to be in the village about 100 years ago," explains village priest Shiv Charan Yadav. He was a Gosevak, he called upon the villagers not to sell milk and its manufactured material, the villagers listened to Baba since then the milk is not sold here." "Now selling milk has become a tradition. Now there is the notion that if milk is traded, there will be harm."
The villagers say that they have heard from their ancestors that Chindhya Baba has taught the villagers that it is a sin to adulterate and sell milk, so no milk will be sold in the village and people will be given milk free of cost. Sant Chindhya Baba's talk became a stone line and since then milk is being received in the village for free.
Locals say that 40% of the population in a village with a population of three thousand belong to the tribal class, while 40% are Gwalior, which leads to a large number of cattle rearing. Also here the population of other caste groups is 20%.
