Bhopal: In Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, the counsellor of the Family Court is embroiled in a strange case. Here, a couple is very upset about the consumption of alcohol. In other cases where wives are usually troubled by the husband's drinking habit, the case is counterproductive. Here, the husband wants his wife to start drinking at least at a family function when other members drink alcohol.

Councillor Shail Awasthi said,  "This is a very different matter and this is the first time I have heard this kind of a case. It is a middle-class family, not with too much money and the husband does a private job. The husband's entire family, his mother, father, siblings, nephew, everyone likes to consume alcohol in family functions but not the wife.

In the beginning, everything was going well, but gradually the in-laws pressured the wife to drink alcohol and give them the company. When the wife refused, the controversy broke out. The counselor also revealed that he was not a newly married couple, and he had three children, aged 9, 6 and 4. The dispute between them had been going on a few days after the time of the wedding, but now, as the problem is growing every day, he is now seeking the help of the counselor.
