New Delhi: The coronavirus epidemic continues to wreak havoc in the country. There is still a section which is not taking the seriousness of this issue and is not showing interest in adopting a very important measure like social distance. According to official figures, 606 people have been infected in the country so far and 12 people have lost their lives. On the other hand, five positive cases have been registered in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. With this, the number of infected patients has increased to 20 in Madhya Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh's new CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has announced a package of assistance for those affected due to coronavirus and lockdown. With this, it has been decided to give 1 month ration to BPL families free of cost. Along with this, the state government has also decided to provide assistance of Rs 1000 per worker to the labourers.

CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, through video conferencing on Wednesday, asked all the Commissioners of Madhya Pradesh, IG, District Collectors, SP, CMHO, Municipal Commissioners, Municipality CMO to prevent Coronavirus and 21 days of PM Narendra Modi Discussed in relation to the nationwide lockdown announcement. During this, he also gave the necessary guidelines.
