New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi last Thursday. During the meeting, he discussed various issues related to the development of the State. Let me tell you all that this is CM Chouhan's second meeting with the Prime Minister within a week.

According to reports, the meeting between the two leaders lasted for about an hour. Talking to media persons after meeting the Prime Minister, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "He discussed the policy decisions taken by the state government and issues related to development.'' At the same time, he also said, "He apprised about the present situation of Covid-19 in the state and said that the epidemic is currently under control and the vaccination drive is progressing at a rapid pace.'' On the other hand, appreciating the Prime Minister, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "His energy is inspiring and his thoughts help in policymaking.''

Let us also inform all of you that last week Chouhan met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda and Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and RK Singh. In fact, the Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states meet the central leaders of the party in Delhi. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur had also met the Prime Minister recently. So far this year, the BJP has changed chief ministers in three states of Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Karnataka.
