Now the supporters of Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left the Congress's hand and joined the BJP, are demanding that he be given a ministerial position in the Modi government at the Center. Jyotiraditya Scindia was the architect of the historical upsurge in the politics of Madhya Pradesh. He overturned Congress's Kamal Nath government and got the BJP government formed. Scindia brought the Kamal Nath government to a minority by forcing the resignation of his supporting legislators and ministers. Later Jyotiraditya joined the BJP with full pomp. The BJP had promised to send Scindia to the Rajya Sabha, which he has also fulfilled.
But now Jyotiraditya Scindia's supporters want Scindia to be made a minister in the Modi government at the earliest as he fulfilled all the demands of the BJP and now it is the responsibility of the BJP to fulfil Jyotiraditya Scindia's wishes. In the Madhya Pradesh government, ministers Govind Singh Rajput and Tulsi Silavat have met CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan and have demanded this. However, no decision has been taken on this matter yet.
