Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, there is a cloud of corona crisis on the one hand and new cases are coming up on the other. Recently, in the Khandwa Collector and Public Relations Officer case, the Indore Commissioner had ordered the PRO to restore service. Following his order, the PR Officers Association had asked CM Shivraj Singh to take a decision. Now, amidst all this, the Chief Minister's PRO and Union President Pankaj Mittal have made a statement on the issue. The statement said, "The PR Officers' Association had gone on strike to protest against the suspension of Khandwa PRO Brijendra Sharma. After which orders have been issued to restore the PR officer. The demand for suspension of Khandwa collector Anay Dwivedi will continue on which state chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will take a decision".

Let us tell you all that last Sunday was a holiday and late on the same day, Indore Commissioner Dr. PRO Brijendra Sharma was suspended by Pawan Sharma. The reason behind the suspension was stated not to be coverage of the minister's visits. Thereafter, it was reported that public relations officer Brijendra Sharma was transferred. In fact, on May 22, Khandwa Collector Anay Dwivedi transferred PUBLIC RELATIONS Officer Brijendra Sharma through ADM Shankarlal Singhade and discharged him for the Directorate.

Let us tell you that no such authority is with the Collector. In view of this, when the matter was escalated, the Indore Commissioner took action in defence of the Collector and suspended the PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER. However, the Commissioner did not have any power. When the entire matter came to light, the public relations officers' association was outraged and went on strike demanding restoration of the collector and commissioner.
