Madhya Pradesh: A businessman arrested on charges of adulteration

Gwalior: Madhya Pradesh government is taking strict action against adulteration of milk products and other food items these days. As a result, the administration has taken action against several accused for adulteration of milk and food at various places in the state. In the same episode, Collector Anurag Chaudhary has ordered national security act to be installed for three months on milk businessman on Umed Singh Rawat, 

Umed Singh runs dairy in Mohana here on 24th and 25th July when the food authorities investigated. In addition to adulterated milk on the dairy, chemicals were also recovered. After which the milk was destroyed, while the chemicals added to the milk are still in forfeiture. This is the first action after 10 years in the case of adulteration in the district.

Earlier in 2009, the then collector Akash Tripathi had taken action against eight people. Umed Singh, a resident of the Dixit colony of Mohana, has been accused of continuously indulging in adulterated milk with spurious chemicals. Umed Singh was working on changing the institution and location of his business. As soon as Rasuka's action took place, the police took action and arrested the accused, Umed Singh.
