The voting counting is underway in Madhya Pradesh and trends indicates a very close competation between BJP and Congress. As per the latest trends, opposition Congress is leading in 119 while BJP is ahead in 102 seats. In this situation, The BSP, independent candidates and other smaller parties will hold the key to power in case the state throws up a hung assembly.

Talking about Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), it is leading in four seats while the Gondvana Gantantra Party was ahead in one. Independents were leading in three seats while the Samajwadi Party seat and the Bahujan Sanghrush Dal were leading in one seat each.

BSP chief Mayawati has called her party's winning/leading candidates to Delhi . A per sources, Mayawati has announced that she won't support the BJP in case elections throw up a split verdict.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has said he will support the Congress.
