Bhopal: The cabinet may have expanded in Madhya Pradesh, but the matter is still complicated with regard to the departments. According to the information, Jyotiraditya Scindia, after making the legislators of his choice a minister, is now adamant on giving him the department as per his wish. For this, churning has started again in Delhi.

Scindia is continuously pressurizing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its department of choice. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also met several leaders including BJP National President JP Nadda. However, no consensus has yet been reached about the departments. According to media reports, the responsibility of the division of departments has also been left to the central leadership, just like the expansion of the cabinet. For this, meetings were held for two days in Delhi with the central leaders.

However, even after this, it could not be sure which department would go to the BJP and Jyotiraditya Scindia camp. According to sources, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan himself has met BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the division of departments but there is no consensus on the departments. According to sources, Scindia is asking for important portfolios for 7 cabinet ministers. They are also seeking an independent charge of departments for 4 Ministers of State.
