The Congress party in Madhya Pradesh has responded to the state government’s decision to introduce teachings of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna in higher and school education. The move, announced by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, aims to incorporate 'Ram Van Gaman Path' and 'Krishna Path Gaman' projects into the curriculum.

Yadav emphasized that this initiative aligns with their manifesto promises, focusing on developing religious sites associated with Lord Ram and Lord Krishna's journeys. He expressed satisfaction with the progress, stating, “I am happy that we are working on it.”

In response, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitendra Patwari welcomed the inclusion of teachings about Lord Ram and Lord Krishna in educational materials. However, he highlighted concerns about issues like paper leaks, corruption, and scams that have plagued the education system. Patwari stressed, “Teaching about Lord Ram and Lord Krishna is commendable, but the government must prioritize addressing these sins.”

Patwari further questioned the accountability for recruitment scams under the BJP government, urging transparency and responsibility in governance. He reiterated, “It is good to teach about Lord Ram and Lord Krishna in the curriculum, but the government should ensure that students’ futures are not jeopardized by such malpractices.”

Meanwhile, Acharya Satyendra Das, Chief Priest of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, supported the decision, noting the significance of imparting knowledge about Lord Ram and Lord Krishna in educational institutions.

As discussions continue, the integration of spiritual teachings into the curriculum sparks debate over educational reforms and governance integrity in Madhya Pradesh.
