BANGALORE: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will be engaging with industrialists during a two-day investment roadshow in Bangalore on August 7 and 8. The primary focus of this event is to attract investments in Space Technology to boost the state’s development.
This summit marks the first time Madhya Pradesh is seeking investments from space technology companies. The state's initiative aims to harness new technologies for development projects.
"Space technology companies offer satellite imagery and data analytics that enhance global monitoring and accuracy. They are at the forefront of developing technology to track space pollution and orbital objects, aiming to improve space security," an official statement said.
During the roadshow, CM Yadav will meet with key players in the space tech industry and extend invitations to major companies such as Pixxel, Digantara, Galaxeye, SatSure, and KaleidEO Sky Server. Notably, SatSure provides satellite imagery that benefits the agricultural sector, while Pixxel specializes in small satellites for Earth observation.
In addition to space tech, CM Yadav will also explore investment opportunities with IT sector companies. He plans to establish Global Capability Centers in Bhopal and Indore, which will create local jobs and boost the local economy by leveraging the state’s talent pool. These centers are expected to foster technological innovation and entrepreneurship while strengthening the local ecosystem.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister will discuss prospects with major apparel and textile companies in Bengaluru, including Best Corp and Gokaldas. Investment in the garment sector is anticipated to enhance Madhya Pradesh's economic standing and generate new employment opportunities, positioning the state as a key player in the global garment industry.
