Lucknow: In the procession of Rabta-e-Madaris organized at Darul Uloom in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, it has been said to oppose the affiliation of madrassas with any board. It has been said that no board in the world can understand the purpose of establishing madrassas, so there is no point in joining any board of madrassas. Madrasas do not require any government assistance.

In fact, after the recent survey of madrassas conducted by the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, Darul Uloom Deoband has taken a big decision after non-government madrasas including Darul Uloom were declared unrecognized. Addressing a conference of four and a half thousand madrassa operators from across the country organized in the mosque of Darul Uloom Deoband on Sunday, Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema Hind, said that Darul Uloom Deoband and Ulema have played an important role in the independence of the country.

He said that the purpose of establishing madrasas was the independence of the country. He said that it was the people of madrasas who made the country independent, and who love their country unabashedly. But, sadly, today questions are being raised about the madrassas themselves, and reprehensible efforts are being made to link the madrasa people with terrorism. He said that people of every religion work for their religion, so why should we not protect our religion? Along with society, the country also needs religious people.
