Magisterial probe begins in Mathura cholera deaths

tyle="text-align:justify">Began with ADM Ajai Kumar Awasthi as presiding officer, a magisterial probe into the death of four persons, including two children, apparently due to cholera, in Kanshi Ram colony.

Awasthi stated “Not only casualties but the entire episode would be probed. Since nobody turned up today, the probe date has been extended to May 20”.

According to a communiqué issued by district Information Officer Lal Behari Singh, people interested in submitting proof or related information may do so in the office of ADM Awasthi.

After the death of four persons, including two children on May 5 and May 6, District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar had ordered a magisterial probe.
