Prayagraj: Late Mahant Narendra Giri of All India Akhara Parishad wanted Balbeer Giri as his successor his lawyer informed the same. This was disclosed by Mahant Narendra Giri's lawyer Rishi Shankar Dwivedi while talking to the media. According to the lawyer, Mahant Narendra Giri made 3 wills between 2010 and 2020. Narendra Giri made his first will on January 7, 2010. In it, he described Balveer Giri as the successor.

Mahant Narendra Giri made the third and final will on June 4, 2020. Mahanta had then succeeded Balveer Giri. Balveer was made the lone successor to Baghambari's property. Mahant Narendra Giri also wanted to meet his lawyer Rishi Shankar Dwivedi. This was stated by Rishi Shankar Dwivedi himself. He said mahant Narendra Giri had called from an unknown number. He had also recognized his voice. By phone, he said he wanted to meet. On this Rishi Shankar Dwivedi said that he is in court. The call was then disconnected. The call came between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m.

According to Rishi Shankar Dwivedi, a lawyer for Mahant Narendra Giri, mahant Narendra Giri and math have about 30 to 40 crore deposits in their accounts. Prayagraj Haridwar in the name of math has assets worth around Rs 200 crore in all cities including Kaushambi. Balvir Giri currently legally owns the monastery and its movable real estate. The court has submitted an original copy of mahant Narendra Giri's last will.
