Thane: The total number of infected people in the district has gone up to 3,44,030 after 5,287 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in the Thane district of Maharashtra. The day-to-day corona cases have left everyone in a state of shock. An official said today, Tuesday, that the new cases of infection came to light on Monday. At the same time, he also said that the death toll increased to 6,581 after 20 more people died due to the virus. The death rate due to infection in Thane is 1.91 percent. The official said that so far 2,95,701 people have been free from infection in the district and the rate of recovery of patients is 85.95 percent.
In fact, 41,748 people are currently undergoing treatment in the district. Another official said that 52,880 cases of covid-19 have been reported so far in the neighboring Palghar district and 1,237 people have died due to infection. In view of the increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra, the Government is constantly getting stricter. Now, these increasing cases have raised the concern of the State Government.
All possible steps are being taken by the government to prevent corona and continuous efforts are also being made. Despite all this, the cases of coronavirus have once again started increasing rapidly in the state. CM Uddhav Thackeray has now written a letter to PM Modi on Monday on the rising covid-19 cases in the state. In the letter written by the Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray is said to have demanded the Prime Minister to increase the minimum age of corona vaccination to 25 years.
