New Delhi: Maharashtra is witnessing the most devastating situation in the country due to the pandemic, the pace with which the people are getting infected, the faster people are recovering from it. Looking at the reported cases of corona so far, it has been said that older people are at greater risk and getting rid of it once infected is not so simple as their immunity is weak, but in Jalna, Maharashtra, 107-year-old woman in the city and her 78-year-old daughter recovered from corona.

According to District Surgeon Archana Bhonsle of Corona Hospital, Jalna, the 107-year-old woman, her daughter, 78, her 65-year-old son, and two 27 and 17-year-old grandchildren were tested positive and admitted to the Corona hospital for the past one week. Members of this family, residents of Malipura in old Jalna, were admitted to the hospital on 11 August after being found corona positive.

While giving the information, surgeon Bhonsle has told that this elderly woman of 107 years had recently undergone spinal surgery and it was a big challenge to face coronavirus at that time. On Thursday, the entire family was discharged from the hospital after recovering. The entire staff of the hospital bid farewell to the entire family warmly.
