In Bihar politics, Hindustani Awam Morcha president and former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi is considered a Dalit face. The announcement of Manjhi's separation from the Grand Alliance is considered a big blow to the opposition parties. But, with this RJD has been alerted. This is the reason that to challenge Manjhi and to help the Dalits, they fielded four leaders. These leaders said in one voice that the central government and the Bihar government are not friendly to the backward classes.

Uday Narayan Chaudhary, former Speaker of the initial Bihar Assembly told that the state government is working against the backward caste. To back up his statement Uday Narayan Chaudhary said that "Under the conspiracy, the state government is doing the work of sending all the officers to jail on charges of corruption, who come from the backward classes".

Former minister Ramai Ram also said that the state government is anti-Dalit. Did nothing for the backward classes and used them as a vote bank. Another former minister Shyam Rajak said that the current government has done only injustice to backward castes. Never done justice. Shyam Rajak said that from "In UPSC to the BPSC, people of Dalit society were not appointed as members". Former minister Shivchandra Ram said that "The Nitish government constituted the Mahadalit Commission to say this, but till date, neither the chairman nor the member was appointed therein. The present government is only doing the work of throwing dust in the eyes of the people". BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary has responded to the allegations levelled by RJD leaders against the Center and Bihar Government.
