New Delhi: A brain-dead woman has given new life to five people, including two army personnel. The organ was donated at the Command Hospital Southern Command (CHSC), Pune. Which can be useful to needy people. The transplant team was put to work immediately after getting the necessary clearances. Simultaneously, the Zonal Transplant Coordination Center (ZTCC) and the Army Organ Retrieval and Transplant Authority (AORTA) were also informed. The organs were transplanted on the night of 14 July and on the morning of 15 July. A kidney transplant was done in the body of two Indian Army jawans.
