Islamabad: Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has once again made a scathing statement against India. This time he has made a statement on former Team India captain Virat Kohli and Pakistan captain Babar Azam. During this time, in his outspoken style, Afridi also made a big allegation about the Modi government of India. In fact, according to Afridi, the Modi government is responsible for whatever tension is going on between India and Pakistan. He said that India-Pakistan relations have deteriorated only after the coming of the Modi government.

Afridi said on a local news channel, "Cricket has been the only medium that has brought the two countries together. Babar Azam has sent a positive message to the world. I think Virat Kohli would have also replied to Babar because that would be a big deal. In fact, Babar Azam has supported Kohli, who is struggling with poor form, and Afridi has praised Babar for the same thing.'' Recently, Babar took to social media to share a picture with Kohli. In the photo, Kohli is seen holding his hand on his shoulder. Along with this post, the Pakistan captain wrote in the caption - This (bad phase) shall too pass. Stay strong.

At the same time, Afridi, who is trying to get into politics after cricket,  has once again criticized the Narendra Modi government of India under the guise of cricket. Afridi said, "I think things have become even worse between the two countries after the Modi government came. While that wasn't the case before. Relations between the two countries were normal. The last bilateral series between India and Pakistan was in 2012. Then the Pakistan team came to India on a tour. Since then, there has been no series between the two teams. The two teams are always seen competing in ICC tournaments.
