Mumbai: The date for assembly elections in Maharashtra has been announced. There are less than three weeks left in the election. The Nationalist Congress Party, or NCP, has released the list of its star campaigners for the Maharashtra elections. The list includes the names of NCP Chief and strongman Sharad Pawar, his nephews Ajit Pawar, Praful Patase, Chhagan Bhujbal, Supriya Sule, Jayant Patil and Nawab Malik. The list of NCP's star campaigners has been released, which includes the names of 40 leaders.

The CPI (Marxist) has released the first list of candidates. CPI from N. Adam from Solapur Central, JP Gavit from Kalvan, DL Karad from Nashik (W), Vinod Nicol from Dahanu, J Mali from Shahada, S Khandare (W) from Partur, K Bhavar from Shahpur, K Narayanan from Andheri (W) is ticketed. It is to be known that the nomination date for the Maharashtra Assembly elections is over and now the campaign for the elections is starting.
