Indore: Politics is hot these days regarding the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections. Bollywood veteran actor and former Congress MP Govinda campaigned for BJP leader Chansukh Madanlal Sancheti in Maharashtra. This propaganda did not go down well with the Congress leaders of Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh minister Sajjan Singh Verma criticized Govinda for this. Sajjan alleged that "such people have no faith". He said in the meantime, 'They work for money'.

"If you give them more money, they will dance on stage for you and if someone else gives them more money they will leave your stage to dance on their stage".  Varma asked Govinda about campaigning for the BJP leader, saying the Congress government had made him an icon of Madhya Pradesh, but it would not take long to remove such an icon.

According to the report, in September, Madhya Pradesh Minister PC Sharma appointed Govinda as the brand ambassador to promote Madhya Pradesh's traditions and tourist destinations. Govinda campaigned for BJP candidate, Chansukh Madanlal Sancheti from Malkapur Assembly constituency on the last day of the Maharashtra assembly election campaign on Saturday. Govinda appeared alongside Sancheti in an open jeep. The Bollywood veteran greeted the public during a road show here. This was the reason that the gentleman was enraged at Govinda and heard him very poorly.
