Maharashtra: A big news has come about Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Nana Patole. Actually, he has resigned from his post. He has now been appointed as the chairman of the Maharashtra Congress Committee. It is being said that due to this step of Nana Patole, there has been a ruckus among the Shiv Sena. Today, on Saturday, in the mouthpiece Saamna of Shiv Sena, a lot has been written agreeing on the steps taken by Sharad Pawar in this matter. Saamana states, 'The post of president was given to the Congress for five years and not for one year.'

With this, Shiv Sena and NCP have expressed concern about fresh elections for the post of the president before the budget session in the state. In the editorial of Saamana, it has been written that 'things are getting easier for the Grand Alliance government, but there is no need to spoil the system. The MVA certainly has a majority in the assembly, but why give BJP a chance. There is a long queue for posts in the Congress party.'

Simultaneously it is also written that the Congress won two seats in the assembly elections. If Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka had rallied in Nagpur, they would have won not two, but four seats. Congress lives in Maharashtra. Abhijeet Vanjari's victory in the Nagpur division graduation election was a major setback for the BJP. Further, the editorial also states that 'The responsibility Patole has taken as Congress state president in Maharashtra would not have been possible without the support of Delhi. Patole will give new energy to Congress in Maharashtra. Hopefully, Congress will also have a national president soon.'
