New Delhi: Recently, there was a mail to the Board of Control for Cricket in India. That created a sensation. In fact, the mail had a message of attacking Team India's players in the West Indies. Maharashtra ATS has arrested the accused who sent the email. The man is from Assam, whose name is Braj Mohan Das. The 19-year-old Braj Mohan Das is a resident of Morigaon in Assam. The accused had sent threatening emails not only to the BCCI but also to other cricket boards.
On the evening of Sunday 18th August, the Pakistan Cricket Board received an email threatening to attack Team India playing in the West Indies. The PCB had sent the email to the International Cricket Council and the BCCI. On the second day, additional security was provided to Indian players and the email was faked.
Team India is currently on West Indies tour where the Indian team is to play the Test series after the T20 International and ODI Series under virat Kohli. The Test series begins on the 22nd of this month. The PCB received a threatening email describing Team India as a threat in the West Indies. After which BCCI was informed. Team India's security in Antiga beefed up after threatening emails.
