Maharashtra Congress to surround Nagpur Raj Bhavan on January 16 over rising diesel-petrol prices

Mumbai: Diesel-petrol prices are rising day by day. The Maharashtra Congress is engaged in protests at rising prices. Recently, Congress says, "on this issue, he is ready to surround the Nagpur Raj Bhavan on 16th January. The price of petrol has crossed Rs 91 per litre in Mumbai last Thursday and that is what Congress is angry and protesting". The Maharashtra Congress is ready to protest on 16th January on the rising prices of petrol and diesel.

Recently, a senior Congress leader has briefed about the Siege of Raj Bhavan. Maharashtra Congress President and Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat said in a recent statement that the country is currently facing an unprecedented hike in petrol, diesel prices, while lakhs of farmers are already sitting in agitation outside Delhi in protest against 3 agricultural laws. In addition, he also told the media that about 60 farmers have lost their lives within 45 days of the agitation.

In his further statement, Congress leader stressed on the government and said, "The BJP government at the centre remains insensitive to the plight of the farmers. Congress will have to be surrounded to awaken this ruthless and arrogant government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
