Mumbai: The number of corona infected patients in Maharashtra is increasing rapidly. During the last 24 hours, 12,248 new cases of corona have been registered in the state. With the increasing figures, the total number of patients has now exceeded 5 lakhs. Confirming the figures, the Health Department said that 390 people have died in a day.

There have been 1,066 new case reports of Corona in Mumbai. After which the number of corona infected patients has increased to 1,23,382 in Mumbai. There are 48 people who lost the battle with Corona and died during treatment. Till now a total of 6,799 people have died due to coronavirus. 5 new cases of corona have been registered in Dharavi, Asia's largest slum.

The total number of corona-infected people in Dharavi has now reached 2,617. However, it is a matter of relief that currently, there are only 88 active cases. 332 new cases of corona have been registered in Navi Mumbai. While 8 people have died. A similar situation has been observed in Vasai-Virar area, where 236 new corona patients tested positive on Sunday. While 7 people have also died.
