Mumbai: Corona infection cases are increasing continuously in Maharashtra and more than six thousand new cases of corona are coming every day. 6497 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the state during the last 24 hours and after that, the total number of corona infections in the state has crossed 2,60,924. 193 more patients have died due to infection in the state and after this, the number of deaths due to corona in the state has reached 10482.
On giving information, the state health department said that 193 patients have died in the last 24 hours and after that, the number of deaths due to corona infection in the state has increased to 10,482. 4,182 patients have been discharged from various hospitals in the state during the last 24 hours and so far 1,44,507 patients have recovered from the infection in the state. While the treatment of 1,05,935 patients continues in various hospitals of the state.
In Mumbai's slum Dharavi, cases of corona infection have been declining for the past few days and on Monday, 6 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported here and after that, the number of corona infected in Dharavi has reached 2,381. 2,309 patients have recovered from corona infection. Last week itself, the World Health Organization (WHO) also praised the BMC and the state health department for preventing corona infection in Dharavi, becoming a hotspot of corona infection.
