So far, the government has not given any specific reason for the decision given by its side. Such a decision has not been taken by the Government of Maharashtra only. Even before that, the governments of many states of the country have taken such a decision. Last year, the government of Bihar also talked about not wearing casual. At present, the order issued by the State Government talks about wearing sarees, salwar, kurta, trouser pants-shirts for women. Women have been asked to use the scarf as and when required.
In this order, men can wear shirts and pants. Earlier in Rajasthan, the government of the diocese had also issued a similar order in the year 2018. The order said that employees can not wear jeans and T-shirts in the office. The order given during that was stated in the notification issued by the Labour Department's Kameshwar. In addition, the Government of Tamil Nadu had also issued an order on the dress of its employees stating that the employees should wear similar clothes to Indian and Tamil culture.
