Mumbai: Maharashtra is witnessing a decline in corona infection. The number of corona infected people here is decreasing day by day. The figures that emerged last Monday were shocking. In fact, last Monday, only 26,616 corona positive new cases were reported. Not only that, the number of deaths here also seems to be gradually decreasing. Last Monday, 516 people died of corona in the state and another good news is that the number of recoverers is now increasing more than the new corona positive cases.
The same thing happened last Monday. In fact, the number of people recovering from corona last Monday was 48,211. Last Sunday, there were 34,389 new cases and 59,318 recoverers. At the same time, if we look at the number of deaths in the state last Monday, there has been a lot of improvement as compared to last Sunday. There were 974 deaths last Sunday while only 516 deaths were killed last Monday. At present, the mortality rate in the State is 1.53 per cent. Now, if we talk about the recoverers, 48,211 people recovered from corona last Monday.
In such a situation, if you add this number, 48 lakh 74 thousand 582 people have recovered from corona and gone home in the state so far. With this, the recovery rate has gone up to 90.91 per cent of the recoverers in the state. Talking about the number of corona patients active here, it has come down to 4 lakh 45 thousand 495 at present.
