Mumbai: Maharashtra's finance minister and veteran BJP leader Sudhir Mungantiwar has claimed that the next cm of the Maharashtra State will be from his party. He also said that the BJP and the alliance partner Shiv Sena will soon reach an agreement for the division of seats for the upcoming state assembly elections later this year.
Mungantiwar said in Nashik on Monday that, "the next cm will be from the BJP. There is no discord between the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance. This time we will win more than 220 seats in the 288-member assembly. "He has said that the BJP and Shiv Sena leaders are working on an agreement for the division of seats for the state assembly elections. Meanwhile, bypassing Mungantiwar's comments, a Shiv Sena leader has said that there has been no change in the statement of state cm Devendra Fadnavis in which he said that both the alliance partners will share all responsibilities and equal seats in the assembly elections But the candidates will be on the fly and ensure our victory.
