Mumbai: The recent case from Beed district of Maharashtra has come as a shock. The Panchayat here passed the resolution and asked the gang-rape victim and her entire family to leave the village. In this case the woman has alleged that she is being forced by the panchayat to leave the village. The woman has also lodged a complaint in this case and now the police has started investigating.

It is being told that this case is of Pachegaon in Beed district. Where 4 people gang-raped a woman a few years ago. After that, the matter went to court where the court sentenced the four youths to life imprisonment. After this case happened, the villagers started mistreating the woman and her family. Day and night the people of the village started harassing the victim. An attempt was also made to kill the woman.

In this case, the woman has alleged, 'the villagers are threatening her, and she is being asked to leave the village'. The woman said that a resolution has also been passed in the panchayat to evacuate the village. It is also reported that when the woman approached the police to file a complaint, the villagers also misbehaved with the woman at the SP office. The woman and her four young daughters, who somehow escaped from the villagers, went to the SP office and got a complaint made. The investigation of the case is going on based on the complaint of the woman.
