Mumbai: On Saturday, the Nagpur Forest Department team caught two monkeys involved in the killing of 80 puppies in Beed, Maharashtra. Beed Forest Officer Sachin Kand said that after capturing both the monkeys, they have been released in the jungles of Nagpur. Actually, a 'gang war' was going on in Beed between monkeys and dogs, due to which there was panic among the people of the area. So far 70-80 puppies have died in this 'gang war'.

The residents say that first, the dog killed the monkey's children. After that, a 'gang war' started between them. He told that in the last 3 months, monkeys have killed many dog ​​babies. There was an atmosphere of fear in the whole village due to the fight between the dogs and the monkeys. Now people have got relief due to the capture of both the monkeys. Although the villagers still say that the forest department has caught both the monkeys and released them in the forest, but it is necessary to take some concrete steps out of it.

The people of this village with a population of 5,000 were very disturbed by the monkey menace. He said the monkeys had also attacked people walking on the road several times. A herd of monkeys was often in search of dog children. When the puppies were seen, they would pick them up and keep them with them. The puppies died of injuries and hunger as they climbed the tree. On the other hand, the forest department has said that there was a report from the villagers that the monkeys are a lot of terror here. A team has been sent to the spot to investigate the matter.
