Mumbai: After the recent month-long political upheaval in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will take oath as Chief Minister at 6.40 pm today. This will be the first time that a member of the Thackeray family will sit on the Chief Minister's chair. Earlier, Narayan Rane of Shiv Sena became CM in 1999 and Manohar Joshi in 1995. At the same time, the swearing-in ceremony of Mahavikas Aghadi government of Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP under the leadership of Uddhav will be held at Shivaji Park in Dadar. Apart from Uddhav, three leaders from three parties can also be sworn in as ministers.

According to the sources, two Deputy Chief Ministers, who will be from NCP and Congress. The final decision on these two names has not been done yet. Discussion on this issue is going on among the three parties. According to sources, the Congress has demanded the post of Speaker of the Assembly, which has been accepted by the Shiv Sena and NCP. In Mahavikas Aghadi, it is finally being decided how many ministers of the three parties will be in the cabinet. Which of these will be sworn in with Uddhav. A meeting of NCP leaders took place at Sharad Pawar's house earlier in the day on Wednesday. According to sources, the formula of 16 ministers of Shiv Sena, 14 of NCP and 12 of Congress can be formed.

Preparation to make the ceremony grand: Let us tell you that there is preparation to make Uddhav's oath taking ceremony grand. Congress president Sonia Gandhi has been specially invited to the program. Apart from them, Chief Ministers of Congress ruled states, DMK leader MK Stalin, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav have also been invited. Apart from this, about 400 farmer families have been called from the state. In particular, such farming families have been invited, whose chief or other member has committed suicide due to lack or debt.

Uddhav invited PM Modi: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday invited Prime Minister Modi to call on oath and come to take oath. PM Modi congratulated Uddhav during this period. However, it is not clear whether the PM will come or not. On the other hand, Aditya Thackeray himself reached Delhi on Wednesday night to invite Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh.
