Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Blue Tick has been removed from Twitter. Dhoni is less active on Twitter, one of the reasons being cited. He has about 8.2 million followers on Twitter. The legendary former cricketer last tweeted on January 8. There have been several cases in the past when Twitter has suspended an account for violating a policy or not being active by the user.

Significantly, according to Twitter's validity policy, blue tick badges can be removed if someone changes their handle. Bluetick scan can also be removed if the account is inactive for a period of six months. Dhoni's account has not been suspended but the blue tick has been removed. Captain Cool may not be active on Twitter, but his name is always talked about on social media. Dhoni is sometimes seen farming in his farmhouse, sometimes making headlines among fans because of his different hairstyles.

Dhoni recently made headlines when hairstylist Alim Hakim shared new photos of him. He had worked on Mahendra Singh Dhoni's hairstyle which was also highly appreciated by the users.
